Understanding Fees
Services are billed at $60.00 per hour for grant writing and $120.00 per hour for consulting. Travel, postage, and printing costs are billed separately.
Contracts are available on a 12-month basis, contract rates are determined based on the number of grants per month and the scope of work.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can Inspired Development guarantee success with grants awarding funds?
No, grant proposals are awarded entirely on the awarding agency’s decision. A well-written proposal is required, but other factors such as an organization’s program experience, staff qualifications, and capability influence the awards.
Do you write grants on contingency or commission?
No. The Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Code of Ethical Standards and Principles does not allow compensation based on percentage of funds received or contingency fees.
How does the billing process work?
For organizations requesting one-time grant writing services, an invoice will be provided with a supporting time sheet when the grant is submitted.
For organizations with contracts in place, invoices will be submitted monthly or quarterly per the contractual agreement. Organizations will also be provided a signed IRS W-9 form so a IRS 1099-MISC can be issued to Inspired Development at year end.
Consultation services will be billed monthly with supporting time sheet attached on the first of each month. Payment is due on the 15th of the same month.
